TR GIVEAWAY & REVIEW: Treat Republics Christmas Range! Win a £30 Voucher (CD: 24/11/2014)

We all know I love Treat Republic. Whenever I have a birthday looming on my calendar it’s the first place I visit to pick up something quirky and unique, and their Christmas selection this year is equally fabulous.

Searching their gifts is stupendously easy. You simply pick your occasion then narrow down by recipient (boyfriend, wife, brother, grandparent etc) and Treat Republic will show you hundreds of tried & tested gifts. This is lazy shopping at its best (although I think the folks at TR HQ will slap my wrist for saying so). You’re guaranteed to find something to suit the fussiest of personalities, and pick up lots of brownie point in the process.

I must have been in a very naughty mood when contacted recently to choose something Christmassy to review (either naughty, or incredibly stressed) as I plumped for alcohol. Treat Republic do a great range of personalised tipples that would make great centrepieces for a Christmas table. There’s champagne, sparkling wine, whiskey, port, vodka, beer and wine… all of which can be personalised (from bottle labels, to boxes and even glassware).

Not thinking of Craigy at all, I plumped for pink bubbles (an entirely deliberate oversight). This Sparkling Monopole Rose Wine was a very reasonable £24.99, which is similar to the price point I’d plump for in the supermarket. It arrived in beautiful gold presentation box in a bed of gold tissue paper. If I had any intention if gifting this to someone it would therefore be ready to simply present to them; dinner party host, birthday girl, your boss or otherwise (but obviously this particular bottle was destined to be devoured by only one person…).

The personalisation process was incredibly simple, you simply type the recipient’s name, then a message of your choice to appear on the bottle. Style-wise it looks slick and professional and I’d be more than happy to receive it. More than happy…

It was a great quality sparkling wine and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Sorry about the quality of the pictures - it wasn’t the first thing on my mind at the time!

    Thanks for hosting lovely x

  3. I always struggle to come up with ideas for presents for everyone, so I always give money or vouchers. No creativity at all, but I think its better to let them buy something they want with the money than something they didn’t

  4. I always worry i haven’t bought enough for those special in my life but as long as we are together none of that matters on the day x

  5. My mother in law, she doesn’t doo smellies, doesn’t drink, she is on a diet, hates jewellery and doesn’t have any hobbies, she basicly doesn’t need anything and will not tell you if she did lol. She’s a lovely person but a nightmare to buy for

  6. no one coz I don’t buy any one any gift coz I hate christmas.. me and hubby buy what ever we want when we want so dont bother for Xmas

  7. i struggle with my dad, men are hard work, cant buy him clothes, anything smelly and he hates chocolates, so i have to search around for personlised items every year, this giveaway would be amazing, i might just find that perfect gift ! #eeeeeeeek

  8. Buying for some of my family who live 200 miles away, as I don’t ‘really’ know what some of them like all that well

  9. I struggle to buy for My other half. I find he can be fussy and whatever I seem to think he likes… turns out he doesn’t lol.

  11. I struggle with gifts for my in-laws and Grandma because at their ages they have everything they could or would ever need!

  12. My mother in law as she never gives us ideas and always seems to buy things for herself right before Christmas that we would have happily given her

  13. my hubby as he always says he doesnt want anything. so this year instead of presents we are putting money towards our holiday instead so makes it easier

  14. My Dad is the hardest person to buy for, he just seems to have everything and asks for nothing!

  15. I struggle with a friend I buy a small gift for. She’s a lovely person but has quite expensive tastes and is quite particular so I always fret about getting it right.

  16. My fiance! He’s not into typical “man presents” that you see every where (aftershave, drinks flasks, glasses etc)
He usually ends up with socks, boxer shorts, a new tshirt and a graphic novel / comic book!

  17. My sister’s husband; it’s always difficult as a woman to know what to buy for a man. There aren’t many men in our family either, so not really used to it!

  18. Has to be my Dad. He’s in the fortunate position of being able to buy what he wants (admittedly his wants are few) and my funds are low.

  19. My Mum - she pulls the same face no matter what I buy her so it’s impossible to tell when she actually likes a gift! Argh!

  20. MEN! I always struggle to buy for the men in the family. They cant wait for anything so if they see something they want they buy it. It’s awful!

  21. My dad as everyone steals the mars bars, slippers, and obvious ones for him and it’s hard to think up things he doesn’t have or would want

  22. My dad he is so difficult to buy for he never wants anything coz he says he has everything he needs so I usually get him a case of wine

  23. My husband as he is so awkward to buy for, doesn’t help that he never gives me any ideas and says he doesn’t want anything

  24. My sister, shes a very indepentent woman and is quite happy to buy herself anything she wants, which is great just not so much so when i want to buy her something and she already has it

  25. I’m loving some of the creative gift ideas on their site…..so satisfying to see someone genuinely like a gift you give them. xxxx

  26. My Dad - he usually gets lumbered with aftershave or socks! Every year! :)

  27. My Father as he has lots of hobbies but they are all very expensive & he seems to require the most expensive item at Christmas as his broke so he says!!!

  28. My dad is the hardest. If he wants something he’ll buy it straight away which is frustrating.

  29. My Grandparents. They have everything they want so I just end up getting them some chocs or a picture of the kids or something - I just wish there was something with a bit more imagination behind it!

  30. My other half as he tends to buy the thing im planning on getting him a few weeks before christmas then im stuck again!

  31. I have five brother-in-laws. I struggle to buy for three of them most years. My husband is hard enough to buy for as it is. Oh, and my father-in-law is even worse!!!

  32. My step dad of 7 years…he’s a Southend united fan and loves 70s music…have done both to death so outside of that I am stumped!

  33. My brother in law - it usually just ends up with me buying him chocolates. All men are difficult to buy for though I find, apart from my Dad.
